First, I would like to thank the members for having enough confidence in me to elect me President for 2017. Those who know me know that I have worked hard over the years to make this a fun place to be. I am very lucky to have a board of exceptionally gifted people to help me in the coming year. Jim Oswald is the new Vice President and Events Coordinator. He has a very big job, probably the hardest job of all. Laurie Rosenau is our treasurer for another year. I can tell you that is one job I wouldn't want. Keeping track of my own checkbook is headache enough. Brett Harris, a smart young member, has volunteered to act as secretary and has already shown great skill in capturing all the details. Jim Lefler, a longtime member and a past president, is our Officer at Large. I’m sure that Jim will keep us all balanced. He will be taking care of the points as well as other duties, so I am sure we will keep up to date on those.
At our October meeting, Jim Oswald presented an incentive to paying your membership dues on time. Those who pay by December 1, 2016, will gain 500 additional points. So, those who are close to the top can gain an advantage by paying by Dec. 1st. Dues are still only $50.00 per household. You can pay by PayPal, by US Mail or in person at the next meeting. Please make all checks payable to BACLV
Our Annual Awards Banquet is December 11, 2016, at The Revere Golf Resort. The member fee is $25.00 per person, and this can be paid by PayPal, US Mail or at the next meeting. The Venue needs a head count by December 4th, see flyer on page 8.
Former BAC Member Sandra Christine Frank passed away on September 24th. She was active in the comm Revere Golf Resort unity in many aspects. Condolences were sent to her family from the BAC. Services were private.
There is NO meeting in December! Have a Happy Holiday!
